The FOXGLOVE RETREAT is the former well known Spencer House Bed & Breakfast & Retreat. Sixteen happy people can comfortably enjoy this retreat without bumping elbows.

Take an invigorating hike just out the front door on the Buckeye Trail or cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace. You choose while staying in this charming log cabin conveniently located by the 6 State Parks. There are accommodations for sleeping up to 16 with 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. All linens, soaps, shampoos and lotions are provided.

Unwind in the hot tub or watch a movie with Direct TV or a VCR on the 36" TV. Follow the path up the hill to the shelter house- a lovely natural setting for a small wedding or a family reunion (in season).

Bake a batch of cookies in the fully equipped kitchen or grill steaks on the gas grill. You could rock the afternoon away on the 40' long screened-in porch/deck or tell stories in the very spacious great room, or sing along to the Baldwin piano.

From Cleveland: I-71S to Columbus. 270E to US 33E. US 33E thru Lancaster to SR180W, turn right. Go 1/4 mile to Pleasant Valley Rd., turn left. Go about 1 mile to Wildcat Rd., turn right. Go about 2 miles to just before stop sign, turn right into drive.

From Columbus: US 33 thru Lancaster to SR180W, turn right. Go 1/4 mile to Pleasant Valley Rd., turn left. Go about 1 mile to Wildcat Rd., turn right. Go about 2 miles to just before stop sign, turn right into drive.

From South Cincinnati: SR 32E, the Appalachian Highway, to Piketon. Turn left onto US 23N for about 25 miles to SR 159N of Chillicothe. Drive three miles on SR 159N turn right onto SR 180E. Go 12 miles to Laurelville. From Laurelville take SR180E about 10 miles to SR678S, turn right. go 1 1/4 mile to Kreashbaum Road, turn left. Go 500 feet to Starr Rt., turn left. Go 1/2 mile to Wildcat Road, turn left to first drive on left.
